Heartbreakers? They’re not heartbreakers. They’re misunderstood. Those sexy bad boys we like to fantasize about, swoon over, dream about and… Yeah, they’re not heartbreakers. I like to consider them romantics in training.

They appeal to us because most of us like a little bad boy mixed in with the man who can sweep us off our feet. In my League of Slayers books, you get to meet a few of those “heartbreakers.” In the first book, Aphrodite’s Gift, Deacon is a hunk of a tattooed man, made immortal after his girlfriend goes psycho on him and brandishes a kitchen knife.
